For the Dulles Middle School Orchestra, we worked to develop a visual and functional experience that was both simple and dynamic. We wanted it to have a fun and organic feeling while maintaining a clean and uncomplicated design. Looking to impress parents with information and organization, while keeping the students interested and excited, we included a variety of features like slideshows, links to facebook and youtube videos, as well as parent and instructor resources.

This site was built from scratch to bring to life the freelance work of Phibia Sound audio engineer, Jon Parfitt. It’s a single page site custom and cleanly coded with HTML/CSS and using jQuery to smooth out the animated edges (with easing and scollTo).

The audio and video player implemented here is jPlayer, but has been re-skinned in a symbiotic aesthetic with the rest of the site design.

We worked closely with a talented in-house designer to develop a custom site with all the features they desired, including product details/specs alternating panels using jquery. Subtle details and coloring/shading of the design was inspired by the softness and support of their products. The site is intended to feel clean and comfortable with easy to understand navigation.

Built from scratch with custom CSS, this site was conceptualized, designed, and executed with particular goals in mind. Since we were developing a site for a game audio company, we worked to build a design that wedded the idea of gaming with audio. We designed a game-screen-like interface with a set height and width. We used both gaming and audio graphics in the navigation and subtle background design. We worked with the client through several revisions until they were completely satisfied with the final site.

Doyle Systems is a leading manufacturer of custom designed sheet and web cleaning systems. We worked closely with the company to develop a site that allowed for easy access to information on their products. Designing a multi-level navigation system, by industry and product type, we enable their target audience to access the information through multiple methods. The site was designed cleanly and crisply to reflect their businesses’ industry of custom vacuum systems and tools for sheet and web cleaning.

Dave has been tuning Pianos in NE Ohio for over 35 years; the business handled by his father 30 years before that! It was important to Dave to have something prospective customers could access easily and enjoy, but also cover a broad range of services including online payment for tunings and a quick and easy contact form. We also included some newspaper clippings to show a bit of the business’ family heritage. The site uses flash for tuning fork-vibrated page changes as well as a functional “keyboard” navigation.

* Though we avoid building completely flash-based websites (for optimal search optimization reasons), this site has been so popular with his customers, we’ve just handled updates since it’s creation and maintained the original design.
